And what about the premium I already paid?
If your card was already charged, the refund will be issued to your credit card within 30 business days, according to your credit card company’s policies.
Step 1: Submit a cancellation request for the existing policy in the app or via our service email. No need to wait on the phone.
Step 2: Purchase a new policy with the updated dates through the app.

In this case, you need to contact the airline directly, they’re responsible for compensation under international aviation law. Your GINGER policy does not cover a refund for the flight or hotel in this situation (except prepaid expenses that are covered under a trip cancellation/shortening extension due to medical reasons/hospitalization, if that extension was purchased in advance).
If you haven’t left Israel yet, you’ll receive a full refund of the premium you paid for the policy. However, refunds for flight tickets or hotel costs are not covered under the policy. (except in cases such as an official reserve call-up order – “Tzav 8” – or a special extension that explicitly covers this).

Yes. if you purchased a trip cancellation/shortening extension. Coverage applies if you received a “Tzav 8” or “Tzav 9” (or an order for regular service personnel) in the week before your trip, and you provide the relevant documents.

The airline is responsible for compensating lodging expenses in the country where you landed. The insurance policy does not cover hotel costs or extra expenses in this situation
